In 2006, "Date Movie" put everyone through hell. Let's be honest for a second, it was stupid, unfunny, boring, and probably one of the worst movies I've ever had to suffer through. It was originally supposed to be a spoof of all the romantic comedies: "My Big Fat Greek Wedding," "Meet the Parents," "The Wedding Planner," and "My Best Freind's Wedding." It turned out to be a huge pile of doo-doo that put me to sleep. Its a shame I didn't review movies then because I would have tore it a new one.
In 2007 "Epic Movie" was released. And boy, wasn't that a great film? (If you don't catch my sarcasm, then you need to leave this site and NEVER come back.) It inflicted as much pain on me as "Date Movie" had the year before. This was supposed to be a comedic parody of some of the big movies out at the time: "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," "Narnia," "Harry Potter," and "Pirates of the Carribbean." However, this was also unsuccessful at being funny. It had a stupid plot that made no sense and just pissed a bunch of people off. I chose not to review this one after viewing it. I was too disgusted.
Now it's 2008, and in about 18 hours, "Meet the Spartans" will be released to the world. It is a spoof of the movies "300," "You Got Served," "Little Miss Sunshine," "Spiderman 3," "Happy Feet," "Stomp the Yard," and "Shrek the Third." Also, Britney Spears' post-dramatic anxiety disorder or whatever crap she has...
I don't like ANY of the spoof movies. I also did not enjoy "Not Another Teen Movie" and the "Scary Movies" either. But I know a lot of people who did, so I won't get too much into them.
Some people are calling this "Not Another Scary Epic Teen Date Movie". Will "Meet the Spartans" be another "Date Movie"? "Epic Movie"?

Awesome work on the article Randy. Sadly, I'll be reviewing this, but gladly, I know better than to like it.
I think I'd rather take a carrot scraper to the eye than have to sit through this. Or any of the others for that matter.
I think if I see this, I need to be taken out and shot.
