"March: The Big 100" Update




So, we have approached around the half-way point of March, and I must say, I am pretty damn impressed with you all. At this point, there have been (dramatic pause) 45 reviews and news articles posted on FilmArcade.net for the month of March. Great job! Keep getting those reviews and articles on there. If you keep moving along like this, FilmArcade is on its way to the Big 100.

A lot of things have been going on this month: Tony (head admin) has now been posting the films being released each weekend on the Friday of that weekend to give everyone a heads-up. Also, he has been uploading trailers for upcoming films right onto the site for us to see. He has also been doing a great job keeping up on film-related news and getting it on FA as soon as possible. Great work, as always, Tony!

Also, you may notice the site looks a little different. There is a new layout with a new color scheme that better fits the page. Also, Tony has added links to reviews, news, mission statement, staff page, as well as some other neat things you can click away at on the right. Also, there is a new banner at the top of the page. Thanks to yours truly, we now have an in-color banner with a new slogan (also from yours truly) that brightens the page a bit and represents who we are as a whole and why we're here.

Not to mention, FA is up for four Blogger's Choice Awards for 2008. (Don't forget to vote).

So the site is moving along quite nicely. And there is more to come! We cannot wait to see what the "Hardcore Film Maniac" has in store for us next.

I would like to thank Tony for making this whole thing possible, and giving me the opportunity to be a part of this all. Everyone will agree you are awesome. I also would like to thank the Arcaders. It has been a pleasure working with you all, and reading your reviews. It has been a lot of fun. Lastly, I would like to do something that I don't see a lot here on FA: I'd like to thank our readers. With an average of 200 views per day, you guys make all this worth while. Because lets face it... If nobody reads this stuff.... then what's the point in doing it anyway?
