So I came home from school in a great mood today, only to find that my dog has died and that they are creating an unneccessary DTV (possibly... or more than likely, rather) sequel to the cult classic "Donnie Darko," which has become one of my favorite movies within the past few years.
Now I know what you're saying... didn't Donnie (played by Jake Gyllenhaal) die at the end? I asked the same question too, but it seems that someone doesn't even get a shit and they want to make some more money...
Oh, and that's not it. It's called "S. Darko." And the worst part about it, other than the fact that Richard Kelly is not involved, Daveigh Chase, the little girl who played his sister in the first one, is being brought back. They could have at least called it "Sam Darko!"
It will be about her and her friend going on a roadtrip and she sees visions. Apparently, Donnie won't be in it, but meteorites and rabbits will. That makes me feel SOOO much better. This is destined to be a disaster.
