Actually it isn't the first. The first was the Best Picture Showcase, but none of you went but me. So this is the official first one.
FilmArcade has been on the interweb for over four months now and I've noticed one thing - aside from knowing Randy, I don't know NONE of you. I don't know if that is a good thing, but I like some of you guys (and girls).
And I know not many of you guys WANT to know me, but for the very few that do want to know me, here is the perfect time to meet me.
On June 27, I will be hosting FilmArcade.net's very first movie event - a double feature for "Wall-E" and "Wanted" (not necessarily in that order). This event will take place in Cherry Hill, New Jersey at Cherry Hill 24, but I will not know the showings until probably June 24 or 25.
Yes, I know I still got a while, but I figured that if anyone is going to make it, I would give an early notice. The theater is the best place in New Jersey to watch a movie (which isn't really saying much).
We will also be holding these events throughout 2008. Here are just the next couple ones so you can mark it on your calender...
June 27 - "Wall-E" and "Wanted"
July 18 - "The Dark Knight," "Mamma Mia," "Hounddog"
August 15 - "Tropic Thunder" and "Star Wars: Clone Wars"
August 22-24 - Monster Mania XI (not a movie event, but will be a great time).
If you are willing to make the trip, RSVP below. More details will be sent later throughout the next two months.

I would really like to go, it sounds like fun. If I can July or August seems more realistic though. I think Flashback weekend is the week before the one in June, which me and mike are going too. And since I will be moving out of Chicago for the summer 2 weeks before that there will be traveling costs and price of the hotel not to mention all the very tempting things to spend money on there. Any cheap motels near you in Jersey Tony? lol that would defintely help. I think this is a cool idea though and hopefully I can make it to one of these.
Oh, plenty of cheap motels, but if you are planning on coming to Jersey, that is the LAST thing you want to do. Honest to blog...
Now as far as a HOTEL goes, I know of a few.
being a fellow resident in NJ, and close friends with Tony, I have to agree with Tony.
STAY AWAY FROM THE CHEAP MOTELS. Trust me.
Um.. but there are plenty of hotels/ or "inns" around, that are pretty reasonable. Days Inns, Red Roof Inns...
Hotels.com, Kelsey.
I will be attending all of these, by the way.
