Our friends over at ISEB interviewed producer Frank Marshall ("The Bourne Ultimatum") and asked him a question that everyone has been asking - will there definitely be a "Bourne 4?" The answer... yes. Even though there isn't another story written by Ludlum, they're planning on writing a completely original story. Matt Damon and Paul Greengrass will return. I don't know what to think of this news - I didn't like the third one, but everyone else thought it was a perfect way to end the series. Who knows? It might work. The film will begin to shoot next summer in hopes for a summer 2010 release.

Not too fond of this news as I thought THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM was the perfect way to end the franchise. He got his memory back and pretty much took out the assholes that tried to kill him in the first place. What else does he have to do? Eh...I'll probably be at the theaters to watch this one anyway.

Excellent. More is good. I hope the next is focused more on Nicky Parsons.

Well there are the two eric lustbader novels they could use.
But it did end perfectly as Wolf said above.

BU was superb. IMO, as long as it is produced and performed as well as in the past, I vote to keep the series going. Heck, I'm still looking at the old ones, over and over
