At the Los Angeles Film Festival on Sunday, screenwriter Mike White (“School of Rock,” “Year of the Dog”) announced to the world that there is IN FACT a “School of Rock 2” script. Jack Black made mention of it at last month’s Cannes, but we took it as a rumor – it’s true. He announced that the first script is finished and he put all of his heart and soul into it… which I believe. “School of Rock” was a fucking classic. Hopefully, we hear more about this throughout the next few months.

I liked School of Rock, but I'm not interested in a sequel. I'll probably watch it eventually, though. :)
