You might have read my review here on FilmArcade, where I applaud "Wall-E" and called it one of my favorite movies ever, but it isn't just me it seems. I went on IMDb just shortly ago, and when I clicked the page, not only does it have a 9.3 rating from IMDb users, but it is on the top 250... at number nine. Not only is it just below "The Empire Strikes Back," but it beats "Star Wars," "The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King," "Goodfellas," "Seven Samurai," and, well, just look at this... It beats "Casablanca," the film that once held the record of the best romantic film ever... until "Wall-E" took it from them.

I'm sure it'll change later and be number one, but for now, let's highlight this picture below. Thanks shitty cell-phone!

UPDATE: It seems like I just might be right about it changing very soon. It's getting higher and higher whenever someone votes. Now it's at number six on IMDb's 250 - just below "The Godfather," "Shawshank Redemption," "The Godfather Part II," "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly," and "Pulp Fiction." Rotten Tomatoes also named it the best reviewed film of 2008 so far. If that doesn't make you want to watch it (and if you already saw it, watch it again), then you must be watching Mike Myers and his phoney balogna accent. Randy might as well change his opinion soon.

And why not? I'd also name wall-E one of the best movies 2008. Together with being an excellent animation for children, it gives adults food for thought. This link is for those who haven't yet watched the movie
