Producer Mark Millar was talking to the Scottish website Daily Record and broke the news on a “Superman” revamp… kind of. I was a big fan of “Superman Returns,” and still watch it whenever it is on HBO or Cinemax. Millar said that he has a director and a producer in mind for the new “Superman” film, and he is shooting for a 2011 release date. There is no idea that this will be a sequel or another reimaging (if you didn’t know, “Superman Returns” was a reimagining), or whether or not Brandon Routh will be reappearing as the caped crusader. One could only hope that this may put the films back on track.

Superman is ALWAYS getting revamped. Nobody ever seems satisfied with where it's at. "Superman Returns" was not that bad, and it can easily be improved on with the next sequel.
I was kind of hoping that Singer would come back with his promise of "Warath Of Khan" like sequel.
