Lionsgate to Release Lebron James Documentary

Lionsgate recently announced that on October 2nd that they will be releasing the Lebron James documentary “More than a Game”. The documentary is about five talented young basketball players from Akron, Ohio star in this remarkable true-life coming of age story about friendship and loyalty in the face of great adversity. Coached by a charismatic but inexperienced player’s father, and led by future NBA superstar LeBron James, the “Fab Five’s” improbable seven-year journey leads them from a decrepit inner-city gym to the doorstep of a national high school championship. Along the way, the close-knit team is repeatedly tested—both on and off the court—as James’ exploding worldwide celebrity threatens to destroy everything they’ve set out to achieve together. More Than A Game combines a series of unforgettable one-on-one interviews with rare news footage, never-before-seen home videos, and personal family photographs to bring this heart-wrenching and wholly American story to life.



Halo –8 Entertainment picks up the rights to Ramzi Azbed’s Latest Film “In a Spiral State”

Halo-8 Entertainment recently announced that they’ve acquired the Ramzi Azbed’s latest film “In a Spiral State”, which they plan to release it theatrically before hitting DVD shelves in late 2009. The film portrays Los Angeles through the eyes of Daya (Ofri Fuchs), an angel who's become mesmerized by the city's interconnected yet utterly isolated inhabitants, particularly its struggling and flawed artists, frauds, drug addicts, and murderers. A second angel Gadi (Adam Meir, "WALTZ WITH BASHIR") is unable to prevent Daya from interfering in their lives, as this empathetic angel is drawn into the frightening and twisted machinations of the city's underbelly. The film also stars, Bianca Barrett (Albino Farm) Lizzy Strain (The Devil’s Muse), Mae Moreno (The Boys & Girls Guide to Getting Down) and Elissa Dowling (Clive Barker’s Dread).

May 6th Lionsgate will release Frankenhood starring funny man Charlie Murphy. FRANKENHOOD follows two ordinary guys, Motown and Darius, who dream about leaving behind their mundane and routine lives working at a morgue for a more exciting way of life. To their surprise, things quickly get interesting after they stumble upon their crazy co-worker attempting to bring a dead man back to life! Though strange and outrageous, the guys turn the unusual situation into an opportunity to win $25,000 by recruiting their “new” friend to enter a 3-on-3 basketball tournament!
