Acclaimed director Oliver Stone dropped by the Aero Theatre in Santa Monica recently to talk about "South Of The Border," his documentary on Hugo Chavez and the misperceptions people all over the world have of him. For the Q&A moderated by Silvia Bizio, he was joined by the movie's editors Alexis Chavez (no relation to Hugo) and Elisa Bonora. It was a sold out screening filled with fans of Oliver's work as well as people from different parts of the world.

Elisa called working with Oliver Stone a dream for her, and that he "approaches editing as writing." Stone was quick to describe Elisa as a "lovely human being who had made some very funny commercials" including one for Carl's Jr. Elisa described that one as "reverse capitalism" in that it denigrates the product. Alexis was also excited to be a part of this project as he felt it "brought a story to people who didn't really know anything about it."
