We here at Film Arcade are looking for new writers with opinion on movies and reviews, from the latest releases in theaters and DVD.
Why should you write for Filmarcade.net?
Film Arcade will give you the opportunity to write whatever you want, as long as it relates to the world of films and doesn‘t have a lot of profanity. From time to time, we receive screeners and requests that filmmakers want their films reviewed on the site. If you also choose to review a certain screener, it would be your responsibility to review that film in a timely manner. give or take a month after you've receive it.
If accepted, I would hope you would be able to contribute at least one review or column per month.
I personally can't pay you anything, but it's a good way to get in the door for any aspiring writers or fans of cinemas that always wanted the chance to write for a website and you also get to keep the screener or DVD that I send you in the mail.
If you like what you see and your interested, then send me an email with a sample review to fawriters@gmail.com or anthonythurber@filmarcade.net. Please make sure your review has at least 500 word and include a plot synopsis for each of your reviews.
