Mercy, penned by Scott Caan, follows Johnny Ryan (Scott Caan), a young, successful, and cynical romance novelist, who writes about love the way he sees it: as a fairy tale. He fills his personal life with one night stands, not believing that real love exists. While celebrating his latest bestseller, he meets, and is rejected by, a beautiful woman named Mercy (Wendy Glenn). Upon finding out Mercy is the lone critic who panned his book, saying its author is ‘lacking depth,’ Johnny tracks her down. Confrontation leads to romance, and Johnny gradually, begins to see a future for the two of them together. Love. Happiness. Marriage. These things begin to materialize when tragedy intercedes. Mercy has a stellar supporting cast including: Dylan McDermott, James Caan, Erika Christensen, Troy Garity, Kelly Lynch and Balthazar Getty.

In this action pact journey reminiscent of Easy Rider; Born to Ride follows two motorcycle riders on their way to Sturgis where they encounter hustlers, women, corrupt politicians, and mobsters. The film reunites Starship Troopers co-stars Casper Van Dien and Patrick Muldoon, and also stars William Forsythe, Theresa Russell and Branscombe Richmond.

Jack the Reaper, starring Tony Todd (Candyman), Douglas Tait (Freddy vs. Jason) and Sally Kirkland (JFK), tells of a cold-blooded creature known as Railroad Jack haunts a stretch of desert highway called Death’s Door, waiting for his next victims. He is a Reaper, one who ushers souls to the afterlife, willing or no. Railroad Jack stalks the desert, drawing prey to the abandoned roadside carnival that is his weapon. When a school bus carrying a group of teens on a field trip happens through Death’s Door, Railroad Jack lays claim to their souls. Making sure their bus crashes, he entices them with the lights and sounds of his deadly carnival. The teens explore and terror ensues as the Reaper picks them off one by one.

In the terrorizing tale of Boggy Creek, when Jennifer’s father dies in a horrific accident, she finds herself drawn to his cabin he once inhabited in the town of Boggy Creek, Texas, to learn more about the man she knew so little of. When she arrives with a group of friends, they encounter an evil that has lurked near the waters of Boggy Creek for three decades. Murdering men and abducting women, these terrifying creatures viciously attack anyone that dares to go near their feeding grounds. What begins as a journey of self discovery becomes a desperate flight for survival along Boggy Creek.

In the thriller Spirit Hunters cinematographer and soundman, Morgan and Cricket, head to a remote Idaho ranch to film the pilot episode of “Spirit Seekers,” a new reality TV show about ghost hunters. When a host dies during filming, the production shuts down. Unbeknownst to the cast and crew, the show’s director planned the host’s death to boost ratings. Dr. Randolf Fairfax (Doug Jones) fears the bloodshed has awoken supernatural spirits that are now hell bent on their own revenge! The crew must try to survive, dodging bullets, ghosts, and a scheming television producer (played by Star Trek’s Robert Picardo) as they race to find out what is really going on at the end of the road.

President of American World Pictures, Mark Lester states “AWP continues to bring new films into the market place with a windfall of excellent results. We are excited about our new additions to this year’s line-up and anticipate a successful market.”
