"Atrocious" Set to Scare Up Your Living Room

One of the best of horror film of 2011 makes its way to DVD just in time for Halloween. Blood Disgusting Selects has send us over information regarding the upcoming DVD release of "Atrocious". The DVD is set to be released on October 25th.

The mind-bending, gruesome thriller ATROCIOUS, which garnered a tide of online buzz and quick comparisons to 2008's PARANORMAL ACTIVITY after its theatrical run in AMC Theatres last month, will be released nationwide on DVD & iTunes October 25, 2011. It will also be available on AVAIL-TVN Video on Demand (VOD) the same day until December 25th, 2011.

The directorial debut of Spanish helmer Fernando Barreda Luna, ATROCIOUS excerpts found footage from a film reel recovered by Spanish police, documenting a family of five discovering the truth behind a dangerous urban legend. The 37 hours of found footage follow Cristian and July Quintanilla passing time at their summer home by investigating a terrifying and mysterious urban legend. As their investigation intensifies, strange occurrences in and around the house escalate rapidly, culminating finally in unspeakable atrocities.

The film is produced by Octavi Martínez, David Sanz, and Jessica Villegas Lattuada. ATROCIOUS is a Nabu Films and Silencio Rodamos Producciones production.
