Bizarre and awesome-looking but not entirely satisfying experimental-short about a heartbroken and suicidal widow on the anniversary of her husband's murder at the hands of his mistress.

"0, 1, 2, 3, 1, 0" looks absolutely stunning, thanks to the beautiful cinematography, the excellent lighting and the stylish set-up. It's packed with emphatic images and symbols, the music (various clips from Trent Reznor's brilliant song cycle "Ghosts") is haunting and highly effective, and I loved the odd german narration throughout the film.

Unfortunately, the whole thing is rather a case of style over substance, as there are way too many open and unanswered questions, and the story / the characters lack development. Also, it felt a bit too dull and tedious for my liking.

Recommended to fans of Jeremiah Kipp's works.
