Osiris Entertainment recently send us stills for their upcoming DVD and Blu-Ray release of "The Hostage Game. The film marks one of the last films that Corey Haim appeared in, as he passed away in 2010. "The Hostage Game" hits stores this Tuesday.

Much loved film star Corey Haim, who sadly passed away at the age of 38 in 2010 , features in the September release THE HOSTAGE GAME.

One of the final films Haim (The Lost Boys, License to Drive, Dream A Little Dream) completed before his sudden passing, THE HOSTAGE GAME hits DVD and Blu-ray on September 9 via Osiris Entertainment.

On a trip back to Canada to celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary, Tom Marlow (Corey Haim) wakes to find his beloved wife missing. Their vacation home – now a crime scene – is now littered with clues to his wife’s whereabouts. In order to ensure her safe return, Tom, now a stranger in the land of his birth is forced to cooperate with the practices of local authorities, the political rhetoric of the American Embassy and the unorthodox methods of a Private Investigator he hired to help him.

The film co-stars Frank Molina (The Vicious Circle), Angela Cullins (U) and Bernard Robichaud of TVs Trailer Park Boys. Michael Masucci directs.

Osiris Entertainment has recently released a couple of stills and the official trailer for their upcoming DVD release "A Thousand Kisses Deep". The film was inspired by the Leonard Cohen song and poem. It stars Dougray Scott ("My Week With Marilyn", "Hemlock Grove"), Amelia Fox (TV's "Silent Witness"), David Warner ("Titanic", "TRON"), and Jodie Whittaker ("One Day", "Attack the Block").

DVD special features include a featurette. "A Thousand Kisses Deep" hits stores and digital download on August 6th.

Plot Synopsis:

Returning home from work, Mia (Jodie Whittaker – Good, Venus, St. Trinian’s & St. Trinian’s 2: The Legend of Fritton’s Gold) witnesses an aged woman leap from a window. Scattered around the old woman’s broken, lifeless body Mia discovers shredded pieces from a beloved photograph of herself and her former lover Ludwig (Dougray Scott – Hitman, Enigma, Mission Impossible II). Highly unnerved, Mia begs Max (David Warner - Planet of the Apes, Titanic ), the buildings’ all knowing custodian, to let her into the deceased woman’s flat. While inside this strangely familiar place, Mia recognizes the contents as her own. Confused and disturbed by what lies before her, she bolts back and forth in time where she is forced to realize it was her very own life that ended before her. Now, the only way to safeguard her future is to go back to her past and confront the man she loves deeply but dreads most.
