We made mention that the teaser trailer for “The Day the Earth Stood Still” will be appearing before “Hancock.” It hasn’t been “officially” released on the internet, but it is appearing now off of YouTube and FilmWeb. Let me be the first to say that we might actually like the movie, but it will take a lot more than a teaser trailer to make us figure that out. “The Day the Earth Stood Still” comes out December 12, 2008. (If the trailer goes dead sometime through the day, can one contact me back?)

I love the original film, but the remake looks like it has very little to do with that one.
