Hey guys! Today's question is just an opinion, so feel free to let us know what you think! Reply via a comment. Have fun!!!

Question:  So far, out of all the films you've seen in 2008, which ones do you think are deserving of an Oscar nom? Please be as specific as possible, if you can. List the film, and what catagory you think it should be nominated in. Also, feel free to throw out some actors' names that you think would be deserving of a nom, what movie, what catagory, etc.  (*Cough cough, Heath Ledger, Cough cough*)

Here's a couple of Oscar predictions of what I've seen so far, this year.

The Dark Knight will probably get nominated for Best Picture, Christopher Nolen will finally get a Best Direction nomination and Heath Ledger will probably will get a supporting actor nomination.

Also from Burn After Reading, I could see Brad Pitt and Francis Mcdormand get nominated for supporting performances.

Also, I like Kevin Smith a lot Tony, but I don't see him getting a best director nomination with his latest film.

Oh yeah, no way in HELL he's not going to get nominated. But wouldn't that be awesome?

I could see all of those "Clerks" haters saying shit like,

"Tht Kevin Smith dud wuz, liek, only nominatd bcuz he like loves his fans. 2 bad he cant make a gooder film than that Seltzer guy. OMGWTFBBQROTFLMFAO!!!!!1111!!!!"

I think Richard Jenkins for Best Oscar Actor for The Visitor and Melissa Leo for best actress for Frozen River. Also James Franco For Pineapple Express.

In Bruges, The Dark Knight, Wall*E for best picture so far. But I could live without the Oscars, so it really don't matter to me. lol.

Dark Knight and Wall-e the only Oscar caliber films I've seen so far this year. Maybe some special effects nods for Iron Man or Speed Racer. Young@Heart could land in the best doc category. Still lots of movie year left, the best is yet to come....
