The Chicago Fear Fest has send us over information that they will be presenting the Midwest Premiere to one of the most anticipated horror films of the year, "Rec 3: Genesis". There is no time for the screening yet, but it will be taking place during the Chicago Fear Fest thats taking place on the weekend of April 13th and 14th at the Muvico Theater in Rosemont, IL.

CHICAGO FEAR FEST PRESENTS THE MIDWEST PREMIERE OF “REC 3”
CHICAGO FEAR FEST, the indie Horror Film Fest presented by Chicago based Horror Enterprises Flashback Weekend, Horror Society, Sinister Visions, and Zombie Army Productions are proud to present the eagerly anticipated Midwest Premiere of “REC 3”.
The original REC film makers are back ready to submit their ensemble cast to another fight for survival against the zombie infection. The action now takes place miles away from the original location and partly in broad daylight giving the film an entirely fresh yet disturbing new reality. The zombie infection has left the building.
Koldo and Clara are about to celebrate the most important day of their lives: their wedding. Everything appears to be running smoothly and the bride and groom and their families are enjoying a wonderful day; that is until some of the guests start showing signs of a strange illness. Before they know what’s happening, the bride and groom find themselves in the middle of a hellish ordeal, as an uncontrollable torrent of violence is unleashed on the wedding.
Amidst the chaos, Koldo and Clara become separated and begin a desperate search for one another. What started off as an idyllic day quickly descends into a nightmare of the worst kind…
