Scorpio Film Releasing has announce plans that they will be self distributing their latest release "Dr. Frankenstein's Wax Museum of the Hungry Dead" on DVD, Blu-Ray and VOD. The film is available now through their Viemo channel for only $5.00. They're also currently taking pre-orders of the film on DVD and Blu-Ray through their official website. The film will be shipped out on April 21st.

Director Richard Griffin says; "With the landscape of media distribution changing so rapidly, Scorpio Film Releasing has decided to forego the typical channels of motion picture distribution and dive into some fresh, uncharted waters by self-distributing our newest film "Dr. Frankenstein's Wax Museum of the Hungry Dead."

Griffin adds, “we have a wonderful relationship with the several companies that have released our films for the past decade, but... much like the title character himself, we felt the need to do some experimentation. So, starting with this title, we will be producing two titles a year to release solely on our SFR label. We will also be producing one other title that will be released in the classic fashion, like our upcoming production NORMAL, which is very much a non-horror project.”

FRANKENSTEIN'S WAX MUSEUM OF THE HUNGRY DEAD is a terrifying, often funny experiment in terror starring Michael Thurber (MURDER UNIVERSITY) in a new and twisted take on the sadistic Dr. Frankenstein. The film is directed by Richard Griffin from a script by Seth Chitwood and Griffin. DR. FRANKENSTEIN'S WAX MUSEUM OF THE HUNGRY DEAD follows a group of teenagers who spend the night in a creepy wax museum in Salem, MA only to find out that it's the secret lair of Dr. Frankenstein, who has been performing profane experiments on the town residents to create ... piece by piece... the ultimate nightmare.
