The film is being directed by Chris Kentis and Laura Lau, who are known for the chilling film "Open Water" and is based on the Uruguayan film, "The Silent House". "Silent House will be hitting theaters on March 9th.

Open Road Films has send us the official trailer and still for the upcoming remake "Silent House". By the looks of this trailer, this film looks like it could be this year's "Insidious". The film is a remake of a Uruguayan film that was released last year by IFC Midnight. The film stars Martha Marcy May Marlene's Elizabeth Olsen and is directed by Chris Kentis and Laura Lau, who brought us the terrifying film "Open Water" back in 2003.
