TIFF 2011: WWE Studios Acquires "The Day"
9:11 PM | 2011 TIFF, The Day, Toronto International Film Festival with 0 comments »Talk about a surprising piece of news coming out of this year's Toronto International Film Festival. WWE Studios announced today that they've picked the US distribution rights to Doug Aarniokoski's "The Day". This news is surprising, because it doesn't feature any WWE wrestlers. This is certainly a right step in the direction for WWE Studios, considering that their films recently haven't been entertaining.
